Executive Director, Austin Music People (AMP)
Jennifer Houlihan is Executive Director of Austin Music People (AMP), the nonprofit trade association and advocacy group for Austin’s music industry. AMP’s mission is to strengthen the city’s live music sector for the ongoing benefit of the regional economy, and the organization is committed to making the economic development of the Austin music industry a priority for our political, civic, and cultural leaders through advocacy, engagement, and research.
Houlihan sits on the boards of ATX Safer Streets and Evolve Austin, and on advisory boards for a number of organizations including Austin Technology Council and DiverseArts CultureWorks. She’s also a deputy voter registrar and a trained facilitator for Conversation Corps, a joint project of Leadership Austin, AISD, CapMetro, and the City of Austin.
