Since 2000, Ted Lowe has run Choicetracks, Inc., a boutique music publishing company and indie record label heavily focused on Sync Licensing.

For well over a decade, Ted has partnered with L.A. based licensing powerhouse Position Music, and Kobalt Music outside of North America to secure licenses for their roster of top-notch independent Artists and Composers. Additionally, Ted co-founded Position Music’s popular Production Music Series, which now boasts over 10,000 tracks and supplies music to shows such as “America’s Got Talent” and “American Idol” in addition to numerous overall deals with Networks and Network Promo departments. Recent placements include ads for Samsung, Oculus Rift, Farmers Insurance, Tommy Hilfiger, Mac Cosmetics, and movie trailers for “Bad Mom’s Christmas” and “Rough Night.” A children’s album he recently co-produced with indie-pop artist Jess Penner has garnered two #1 songs on Sirius XM’s Kid’s Place Live.

Ted Lowe began his music business career at the age of 18, interning in the A&R Department at Warner Bros. Records. After graduating from Berklee College Of Music, he went on to work full-time in A&R at Warner Bros. under legendary music industry mogul Benny Medina. Prior to forming Choicetracks, Ted was Director of A&R at Epic Records, where he worked on Grammy-nominated projects for Babyface, Michael Jackson and Jon B., in addition to numerous Soundtrack Albums, and as a music supervisor on several independent films.
